It’s absolutely gorgeous and will showcase my images and your weddings with huge pictures. I really wanted to import this blog into the new one but was having too many technical difficulties. So turning lemons into lemonade, I thought what better way to start off the 2008 wedding season except with a new blog and look!

Right now the new blog is just waiting to be filled with beautiful images from weddings, portraits and my life! So for those of you just getting to know me and my work, please feel free to browse through this blog and then check out my new blog.

If you use an RSS reader to keep track of all the blogs you follow (I just know you’re a blog stalker like me) make sure to update your RSS subscription to my blog — I highly recommend Google Reader.

I graduated from Rollins College with a BA in Creative Art (this year is my 20th reunion!) and Rollins has this long standing tradition where every year in the spring the president surprises the students with Fox Day. What the heck is Fox Day? Early in the morning the statue of the Fox is placed on the lawn in center of campus and on that day all classes are canceled….Yeah!! Everyone gets the day off and there is lots of celebration and a huge picnic for everyone. It’s a big secret what day it’s going to be and for weeks leading up to it there is lots of speculation.

Their wedding collection includes a credit towards an album and since they haven’t had a chance to choose the pictures for their album yet, I decided to show it to them and see what they thought. This was Aimee’s response “YAYAYAY!!!! It is so beautiful, Jennifer :) ” I think a lot of couples are extremely busy and feel overwhelmed with the thought of picking out 50-75 of their favorite images from over 600 pictures, so I think it helps to visualize and have a framework for the album and then if they want to make changes it’s much easier. I love it!!

Brendan is actually here working and I’m just tagging along to have some fun and explore the city.

The New York Public Library Reading Room.

Bryant Park. Even though it was windy and cold the sun felt great, so there were a lot of people sitting around the park soaking it in.

Ahhh…spring! It was so exciting to see some flowers!

Grand Central Station. I love using a slow shutter speed to get the movement of all the people moving through the station.

St. Patrick’s Cathedral was extremely crowded because of Good Friday.
