I photographed Kelsey and her Mom, Amy, back in August and just finished their cute little coffee table album to remember the day. Doesn’t it look like we had a blast? We did!!

Heather & Shane - “We Will”
Posted by: Jennifer Stone in Engagement Sessions, SlideshowsI had so much fun with Heather and Shane yesterday shooting their engagement session…I just LOVE these sessions and Heather and Shane were so much fun, easy going and are naturals in front of the camera:) It was a gorgeous day, but a little chilly. They were real troopers….there I was all bundled up in my winter coat and hat (it’s hard to shoot with gloves, so I had to forgo those) and then there they are just in sweaters and jeans. It was worth it, there pictures came out gorgeous. We spent some time at Forest Park and then headed to their alma mater where they met, Springfield College. What a gorgeous campus, lots of old buildings with great architectural details. Heather and Shane, I can’t wait for your wedding, May 10, 2008!

Wow, what an awesome wedding to end the season on! I’m a little sad because right now this is my last wedding of 2007 but what a way to end it in style. Kate and Kyle are one of my favorite couples and I have had so much fun working with them. I photographed their engagement session back in May and then designed their guest book which everyone loved. Kate and Kyle planned their day perfectly. They both got ready at the Crowne Plaza in Nashua, which was awesome because I got to get pictures of both of them getting ready and even got to take pictures of the guys in the bar enjoying a few beers and lunch before getting ready. They had a beautiful ceremony at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Nashua, New Hampshire, which is an old New England church, big windows, gorgeous light! Then everyone hopped in the limos to head to Greeley Park for some pictures. Unfortunately we all forgot about the time change and that the sun would be setting an hour earlier, so I focused on a few pictures with just Kate and Kyle at the park before heading back to the Crowne Plaza where everyone danced the night away to the sounds of the band K2. Congratulations!!! Have a great honeymoon in Aruba!

Eileen and Demond got married last Sunday at the Apollo II in Norwood, Massachusetts and they were such cute couple. They were so relaxed and laid back and even though everything was running late it really didn’t seem to bother them. Eileen’s Mom was so apologetic to me because Eileen was an hour late to start getting ready, but it doesn’t phase me at all. I just go with the flow on a wedding day and nothing ever seems to go as planned. I never did find out why the ceremony was late as well. Of course during the reception we got regular updates from the DJ on the Patriots game and everyone was excited to watch the Red Sox game, which of course ended up being the winning game in the World Series.

Cindy and Robert got married at the Church of the Good Shepherd right in downtown Nashua. What a gorgeous church!! The only real bummer were the restrictions they place on photographers. No flash photography, which is actually how I work anyway, so that wasn’t a problem, but I was not allowed to move past a certain point in the church. I’m always very respectful of the marriage ceremony and in a church I’m even more aware of not being obtrusive where there may not be a lot of room to move around, unlike an outdoor ceremony. Even with the restrictions though, I got some amazing pictures…it helps to have the right equipment:)
Joey from A Main Event did a great job getting everyone on the dance floor at the King’s Court. He had a great idea which I just loved. Most guests have disposable cameras on the tables, so he assigned one person from each table to be the paparazzi and every time he said “photo op” they had to run up to Cindy and Rob and be the most obnoxious photographer they could be. It was hilarious and I got some great pictures from that.
Big thanks to Ron & Diane who referred me to them, I shot their wedding in October 2005.
Congratulations Cindy & Rob! Have a great honeymoon!

Cathy and Alan are such an awesome couple and have been through so much and stood by each other through it all. Cathy is a breast cancer survivor and was diagnosed shortly after Alan proposed to her. Alan was diagnosed with diabetes and he has been working hard losing weight…he looks amazing since the last time I saw him. Cathy was also the winner of my Boudoir contest and Alan LOVED the pictures:) Now on to their wedding….they got married at the Quidnessett Country Club in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. What a beautiful setting for a wedding and the staff there was wonderful, attentive to every detail.
Big thanks to Kelly for introducing me to Cathy. I photographed Kelly and Matt’s wedding this past June and Kelly was one of Cathy’s bridesmaids. I saw lots of familiar faces from their wedding. Melissa was also a bridesmaid and I photographed her boudoir session, and got to meet her husband Zack, who absolutely LOVED the pictures. Melissa has a lost a lot of weight and I barely recognized her, she looks amazing! It was so great to see everyone!!
Congratulations Cathy & Alan! Have a great honeymoon!!

Carrie and Dave got married at the Westford Regency Inn, my second wedding there this year. Carrie was the most gorgeous bride, but a very emotional bride….she cried at the salon, walking down the aisle, dancing with her dad. She and her bridesmaids were so funny too, they had me laughing so hard I was crying! It was a perfect day for a wedding and they had a beautiful ceremony and then everyone had a great time at the reception thanks to their DJ, Russ from A Good Time DJ. On a side note, Carrie is the cousin of one of my former brides, Kelly, who married Chad last year. It was so great to see them and a lot of the other familiar faces at the wedding!

Cathleen and Woody are the most amazing couple and I was so honored to be invited into their lives to photograph their wedding day! They both went to Dartmouth together but didn’t really know each other then, although they did have one class together, Astronomy 101. But as Cathleen so eloquently stated, the stars weren’t aligned for them until many years later. They both travel the world, although it seems they are always going in different directions! What an amazing love and bond they must have for each other! Cathleen and Woody got married at the Mountain View Grand Resort and Spa in Whitefield, New Hampshire and WOW what amazing views of the White Mountains! They had the most beautiful ceremony which they designed themselves, overlooking the mountains. Chantall at the Mountain View did an amazing job for them and she was just wonderful to work with, actually, the entire staff there were just so accommodating and helpful. Everyone danced the night away to the Latin and jazz music of the band Gusano. Congratulations Cathleen and Woody! Have a great honeymoon in Zanzibar, which sounds so exotic!

What a perfect fall day for a wedding! I drove down the Maine coast to meet Jasmin in Rockland, and it was the most amazing day! When I arrived Jasmin and her bridesmaids were still working on the place settings at the Rockland Elks Lodge, so I was a little worried about the timing, and so was her Dad who kept looking at his watch while they were getting ready. But it always pays to pad the schedule, because even though they were running late, I think the ceremony only started about 5 minutes late:) There was a minor mishap after the ceremony at the Rockland Congregational Church during the receiving line, when Jasmin stepped in an ant hill and got attacked by ants. She actually had to take her dress off and the ants had to be picked out by hand. Her Dad was ready to vacuum the ants out, but I’m not sure her beautiful dress would have survived the vacuum cleaner! After that everyone danced the night away and had an amazing time! Congratulations!!

Wedding: St. Margaret’s Church
Reception: Sky Meadow Country Club
Stephanie and Tony are such a great couple and I had so much fun working with them from photographing their engagement session, to designing their guest book and then finally photographing their wedding…and I still get to design their album! Stephanie and Tony were so sweet and invited me to their rehearsal dinner the night before. They had the coolest gifts made for everyone. They spent an afternoon making their own wine at Vintners Cellar Winery and the label for the bottle was custom designed with one of the pictures from the engagement session. They gave me a bottle and I can’t wait to try it.
The weather was absolutely perfect (not too warm and slightly overcast), especially for photographs outside, although we were hoping for a sunset shot. I started the day with the girls at the salon and then we headed to Stephanie’s house to finish getting ready. The ceremony at St. Margaret’s Church in Burlington, Massachusetts was beautiful. The church was gorgeous with beautiful light. Then everyone headed to the Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, New Hampshire to celebrate. The wedding coordinators at Sky Meadow were wonderful and did an amazing job! We had plenty of time between the ceremony and reception, so I was fortunate to not have to rush through the formals and Stephanie and Tony got to enjoy some of the cocktail hour with their guests. Congratulations Stephanie and Tony and have a great honeymoon!
