The launch of my new website!! I am so excited! It’s absolutely gorgeous with music, several featured weddings, a wedding and engagement gallery. I’m still finalizing it so there may be some changes in the coming weeks, so make sure to check back. Click on the screen shot below to experience the new Jennifer Stone Photography website.

I just mailed Jennifer & Chris’ album to them yesterday and I can’t wait for them to get it…it’s absolutely gorgeous! Jennifer and Chris got married May 19th at the Carriage House in Springfield, Massachusetts and you can see my blog post about their wedding **here**

Now that the wedding season has slowed down until May 2008, I will be concentrating on album designs so stay tuned for lots of album posts.

Evangeline and Wesley celebrated their 25th anniversary with all their family and friends over the Thanksgiving weekend. Since everyone was together they wanted some nice family portraits which were taken at The Lucerne Inn before the festivities. Happy Anniversary!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and didn’t eat too much turkey and stuffing. Brendan and I had a wonderful time with his family down in Massachusetts. I really missed my family though and wish I could have gotten down to Florida to be with them, but I have a trip planned in January after the holiday madness. Here are a few pictures of the youngest of the Murphy clan, isn’t she cute!

I had so much fun with Heather and Shane yesterday shooting their engagement session…I just LOVE these sessions and Heather and Shane were so much fun, easy going and are naturals in front of the camera:) It was a gorgeous day, but a little chilly. They were real troopers….there I was all bundled up in my winter coat and hat (it’s hard to shoot with gloves, so I had to forgo those) and then there they are just in sweaters and jeans. It was worth it, there pictures came out gorgeous. We spent some time at Forest Park and then headed to their alma mater where they met, Springfield College. What a gorgeous campus, lots of old buildings with great architectural details. Heather and Shane, I can’t wait for your wedding, May 10, 2008!

Quebec’s official language is French so I thought it only appropriate that my blog title be in French (day two for those of you who don’t know French). A few of my favorite pictures from our day wandering around the old city. It was a beautiful sunny day here, but winter has already arrived…it’s very cold here…brrr:)

Well, this is a little late as our anniversary was actually on the 2nd, but we are celebrating it this weekend with a trip to Quebec City. Brendan and I have been together for 13 happy years:) While Brendan knows absolutely nothing about photography (I had to give him a disposable camera when he went to Machu Pichu and made him take pictures…they actually came out quite good), he has been so supportive of me building my business and I could not have done it without him. Here’s to a long life together filled with love, laughter and happiness in whatever we do together.

We just arrived at our favorite hotel Manoir Victoria in the old city. We just love Quebec City, it feels like you’ve stepped back in time into an old European city.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of having tea and lunch with a group of awesome Maine Women Wedding Photographers. Emilie Sommer organized our little group and we try to meet a couple of times a year just to catch up, share ideas and enjoy each others company. It was so great to see a lot of familiar faces and some new ones. It’s an amazing group of women with some inspiring talent. I believe it’s really important to network and positively support each other:) We all had a great 2007 and are looking forward to 2008. You can see a picture of all of us on Emilie’s blog. Thanks Emilie!

Wow, what an awesome wedding to end the season on! I’m a little sad because right now this is my last wedding of 2007 but what a way to end it in style. Kate and Kyle are one of my favorite couples and I have had so much fun working with them. I photographed their engagement session back in May and then designed their guest book which everyone loved. Kate and Kyle planned their day perfectly. They both got ready at the Crowne Plaza in Nashua, which was awesome because I got to get pictures of both of them getting ready and even got to take pictures of the guys in the bar enjoying a few beers and lunch before getting ready. They had a beautiful ceremony at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Nashua, New Hampshire, which is an old New England church, big windows, gorgeous light! Then everyone hopped in the limos to head to Greeley Park for some pictures. Unfortunately we all forgot about the time change and that the sun would be setting an hour earlier, so I focused on a few pictures with just Kate and Kyle at the park before heading back to the Crowne Plaza where everyone danced the night away to the sounds of the band K2. Congratulations!!! Have a great honeymoon in Aruba!

Eileen and Demond got married last Sunday at the Apollo II in Norwood, Massachusetts and they were such cute couple. They were so relaxed and laid back and even though everything was running late it really didn’t seem to bother them. Eileen’s Mom was so apologetic to me because Eileen was an hour late to start getting ready, but it doesn’t phase me at all. I just go with the flow on a wedding day and nothing ever seems to go as planned. I never did find out why the ceremony was late as well. Of course during the reception we got regular updates from the DJ on the Patriots game and everyone was excited to watch the Red Sox game, which of course ended up being the winning game in the World Series.
