Mother and daughter portrait session….what a blast!! Kelsey is so cute and at 2 years old was a challenge to keep up with…I thought weddings were tough! It was hard to get her to smile, I think my camera scared her…or maybe I did…but I managed to get a few pictures of her with that adorable smile. Green Hill Park is a beautiful spot in Worcester, Massachusetts, much to our surprise as neither of us had been there before.

Future movie star:)

This is my favorite picture of the day…

I photographed Sue and Jamey’s wedding last year and they recently had a baby girl, Hannah, so they asked me if I would do a  photo session.  Of course I’d love to:)  Hannah is so cute, although she is just one month old and doesn’t really do much.  We spent a few hours in Prescott Park in Portsmouth, New Hampshire which has beautiful gardens. These are a few of my favorites.

I think Mary had her wedding day planned down to the minute, she was so cute! I was a little worried that if things went awry she might get upset, but no matter what happened she was just glowing the entire day. And believe it or not I think everything went according to schedule, which doesn’t happen very often! Mary and Jordan got married at The Governor’s Inn in Rochester, New Hampshire which is just a beautiful setting for a wedding. Stunning details, gorgeous setting, lots of emotion…a perfect wedding day! My favorite part of the day was when I get to spend over half an hour with just Mary and Jordan capturing fun portraits of just the two of them.  That is a luxury I don’t normally get on a wedding day.  Enjoy the **SLIDESHOW** from their wedding day. Congratulations!!

PS: I can’t wait to “Trash Your Dress”

What woman doesn’t love to get one of these blue boxes! This was Mary’s wedding day present from Jordan.

OMG, she is so cute!  I photographed the Young family back in November (see my blog post here) and I can’t believe how fast Julia has grown.  She was so great during the photo session, very easy going.  She’d just sit there and smile and look around.  The only problem we had was trying to get her to stop eating the grass!  I also got a few pictures of her big brother Erik:)  I love photographing the Young’s, they’re such a great family.  We did this session at the park that runs long the Kenduskeag Stream in Bangor.  Happy Birthday Julia!

Sophia and Andy requested that I not blog their wedding until they got to see their pictures first, which is why this post is so late. But it was worth the wait! Sophia and Andy had one of the most amazing and memorable wedding days with lots of special surprises throughout the day. They wouldn’t even tell anyone where they were going on their honeymoon! The ceremony took place at St. Joseph the Worker Parish in Nashua, New Hampshire and the reception followed at the Burlington Marriott.

The biggest surprise of all was Sophia wearing her mother’s wedding dress, which was just beautiful. No one except her mother knew she would be wearing it. Sophia had it fitted and slightly altered at Priscilla of Boston and we had a bridal portrait session at the Boston Copley Marriott back in March which was so much fun! Bridal sessions aren’t very popular in the northeast, but I wish they were.

And now the wedding day!
Andy getting ready…

The best man with the rings…

The bridesmaids bouquets were hand tied with the same fabric as their champagne chiffon gowns.  Sophia’s bouquet was hand tied with lace from her dress.

The seamstress stitched her parent’s wedding date and Sophia and Andy’s wedding date in the hem of the dress.

Holding back the tears…

Look at that smile!

I love hand shots!

We’re married!

Sophia’s mom made the favors…beautiful!

This is my absolute favorite picture of the day!

The toasts…

Last dance…

Liz and Kevin had a beautiful wedding at Dunegrass in Old Orchard Beach, Maine.  Even with the heat and humidity it was a gorgeous day and everyone had an amazing time.  I never met Liz and Kevin before the wedding, since they live in New York City, so I had so much fun getting to know them.  The wedding day always goes by so fast and I wish I had more time to get to know them.  Liz was such a beautiful bride!  A **SLIDESHOW** of my favorites!
