Brendan asked me to take some pictures of the John Bapst Math Team at the Maine State Math Meet. This year it was held at the Bangor Civic Center and it always amazes me to see almost 1,000 kids in the room doing math! John Bapst placed first in their division!! And a freshman on his team scored the most points of all the freshman!  Congrats John Bapst!!

Saturday, we are flying to Prague!! So today I’m running around trying to get last minute stuff done before we leave for Boston tomorrow and I thought it would be so much fun to have a point and shoot camera to take on the trip (and for other stuff). Sometimes it is such a hassle to pull out the “big camera” and can you believe I’ve never really owned a point and shoot camera before! I actually had a film one that was somewhat waterproof that I could take on our rafting trips and not have to worry about taking out the pro gear while in the raft, but that’s it (well also the little Brownie camera I had as a little kid). Anyway, this is the new camera and it’s so cute:) As a Nikon girl it also appears that I’ve gone over to the “darkside” but don’t worry I’m standing by my Nikon pro gear!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!

Yummy….chocolate!

Always the math teacher! Learning how to use the calculator early:)

But I don’t want to go home:(

I had such a great time today having lunch at the Saltwater Grille with a group of Maine women wedding photographers. I big thanks to Emilie Sommer for coming up with the idea and organizing the luncheon. Unfortunately I was having so much fun chatting with everyone that I didn’t take any pictures, but our waiter took a big group shot of all of us, which you can see on the blog Emilie set up for us. I really enjoyed meeting some of the best wedding photographers in Maine as well as some up and coming photographers. I think the luncheon was a huge success and I hope that we continue to meet!

This is a picture from my drive home. Can you believe it’s snowing…what the heck is up with that! I am so ready for spring!
