Kelly and Chad are such a cute couple and they had a beautiful wedding day! It was absolutely perfect despite the storms and the fire! Kelly and her bridesmaids got ready at Not So Plain Jane’s in Manchester, NH which is located in one of the old regentrified mill buildings along the Merrimack River. Great place for some cool pics! When we left for the wedding ceremony and reception location at the Bedford Village Inn it was pouring rain and terrible thunder storms were passing through the area, but by the time I arrived it had cleared. As I was getting my gear together in the parking lot I began to smell smoke and literally within minutes I watched a building on the grounds become engulfed in flames. Luckily the fire department was quick to respond and put out the fire so it did not spread to the main building. The cause of the fire was a lightning strike and fortune was on Kelly & Chad’s side that it did not hit the main building. Because of the weather they moved the ceremony inside, which was just as beautiful, and then the weather cleared so we were able to take the formal pictures outside… the best of both worlds. Everyone danced the night away thanks to a great DJ Steve Gamlin and before I knew it midnight had arrived.

Congratulations Kelly & Chad!!

Rebecca and her husband Ed with their 2 kids, Matthew and Meagan, have a beautiful house on a lake in Orlando. Matthew just loves the water and doesn’t seem to be afraid to try anything and even though Meagan is only 6 months old she loves the water too. Ed tried to get me out on the tube ride, but Matthew is way more adventurous than I am…and look at him on a knee board!! What an amazing kid:) I had a great time visiting them and will miss them until the next time I visit. It is so hard to live far away from family:(

This weekend Brendan and I are down in Orlando, Florida staying at the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Hotel. Brendan is attending the AP Annual Conference and I am getting a chance to visit my sister Rebecca and her family, as well as my parents who live in Gainesville. Yesterday Rebecca and I drove up with her kids, Matthew, 3 1/2 years old and Meagan, 6 months old. For someone who does not have kids this was quite an experience, but I had a blast….although I was exhausted at the end of the day:) We had a great time at lunch and stopped at the park for Matthew to play, and then a quick visit to the Florida Museum of Natural History, a great place to kids to run around:) Stay tuned for more pictures, as today I will be going to their house on the lake….

Kami and Brian had a beautiful wedding day! The day was perfect…we have been having terrible weather in New England, but their day was sunny with very little humidity. They got married at the Francestown Old Meeting House and their reception was at the family horse farm. It was the perfect start to a long and happy life together…congratulations!
